Oceana 2006 occurred in the 60th anniversary year of the Blue Angels and was also the last appearance of the F-14 Tomcat in an air show. In addition to those major aspects of this show, we also present an in-depth review of the F/A-18 Super Hornet Tactical demonstration hosted by the Naval aviators who flew them. Many other events are also seen in this program.

March 10, 2006 marked the end of the last deployment of the F-14 Tomcat by the US Navy. This video program shows the return of VF-31 and VF-213 to their home base at NAS Oceana, as well as other aircraft of Carrier Air Wing Eight (CVW-8).
