About Hart Aviation Video Enterprises
Hart Aviation Video Enterprises is based in Falls Church, VA. Formed in 1998,
it is dedicated to preserving exceptional air show and aviation events from multiple events
over a wide area of the Eastern United States.
Video footage is taken using a patented camera mounting platform that balances
the camera in front of the operator. Remote controls provide the operator the ability to
command essential camera operations while keeping the hands in place. This arrangement permits
the cameras to follow events over much longer spans of time than with traditional cameras.
This provides the option to see continuous action for extended times, and in many cases allows
us to assemble a complete record of a performance or event.
Interviews are conducted to provide an opportunity for the pilots to relate
some of the details and insights related to their performance. These are often done from the
perspective of addressing the viewer as having significant knowledge of aviation. This permits
the sharing of information in more detail and depth than is usually possible in such
interviews.
Narratives and Chapter Lists:
Some videos are accompanied by a narrative that describes the events seen in the
program and provides considerable additional detail concerning the program's events and
performers. Others are provided with chapter lists. The narratives and chapter lists are available for download from this site in .pdf format and may be
copied if desired. Links to the narratives are provided on the display for each item.
Patents:
The patents that cover the camera mountings are 5,890,025 Issued March 30,
1999 and 6,056,449 Issued May 2, 2000, subsequently corrected. Agreements are available with
companies that would like to license the camera platform for production and sale.
