Warranty and Return Policy
Duplication Processes
Our camera masters, with very few exceptions, are in the miniDV (digital)
format and all editing activities are accomplished in the digital format. The first time our
video is transferred to an analog format is to make a VHS or S-VHS copy during the duplication
process. Our analog video duplications are done directly from digital masters using the best
equipment and tape stocks available. Some copies are made by us; most copies are made by very
capable duplication companies. DVD copies are made by companies utilizing a "cloning" process
that makes an identical optical copy of the DVD master. The DVD master is made directly from
the digital master tape.
Return of Defective or Damaged Tapes and DVDs
Defective Tapes or DVDs
Defective video tapes or DVDs are rare and will be replaced when a defect is
verified. In order to claim replacement of a defective product, the item must be returned to
Hart Aviation Video Enterprises within 2 weeks of the date of purchase. In order to be
replaced, claimed defects must be accompanied by specific information about the defect,
including a description of the defect and its location in the program using counter
references.
Tapes or DVDs verified as defective will be replaced, and the replacement will
be returned to the customer by First Class Mail at no charge. The sole liability of Hart
Aviation Video Enterprises is to replace defective product.
Damaged Tapes or DVDs
Please be sure that players used to play tapes or DVDs are in good working
order. Tapes or discs that have been damaged may be returned to Hart Aviation Video
Enterprises for examination. In the case of verification of a damaged item, the maximum
concession that will be made for replacement is 1/2 the purchase price; only one concession per
customer will be made.
